Rachael and Matt

Rachael and Matt got married at Smoky Hollow Studio located in El Segundo, CA. This wedding had mostly all white flowers with lush greens and just a small hint of blush.

Early on, I knew I wanted anemone's to play a big role in this wedding. Anemone's have that striking black center on this very dainty and delicate looking flower. To me this flower really plays well with that edgy industrial look. I was so happy to see their sign had anemone's all along the top of it. It really made a cohesive and intentional look.

This wedding played off of the industrial look of the venue with navy blue and gold accents throughout. For flowers, we stuck with mostly white's, lush greens, and hints of blush.

The arch was located in front of the venue's industrial rolling glass garage doors. We decorated the arch with smilax greenery around the entire top half of the arch. We then hung a variety of vintage glass bottles from the top at varying heights. The vintage bottles consisted of clear glass and we spray painted some gold to bring out the gold element at this location as well.

How stunning does our bride look!

With the wedding party almost ready, the wedding is just moments from starting. I'm usually setting up the reception space and making sure all the finishing touches are perfect and everything is set in place.

For the reception space, the bride provided us with some gold painted bottles she wanted to use. We then clustered sets of 3 along each end of the table. The bottles had a mix of eucalyptus greenery, baby's breath, white lisianthus, white anemone's, and blush roses. Every bottle and cluster was just a little bit different.

The cake was a lovely three tiered cake that we added flowers to. This photo also shows the toss bouquet located behind and with one of our flower girl baskets on the right. I love adding sweet details to simple items like the cake and the flower girl basket. Italian ruscus was used to line the rim of the basket and the handle.

This special table was to memorialize some of the couple's lost loved ones who I'm sure have impacted and shaped their lives in some way. White rose petals and large garden rose blooms were scattered throughout this table in memory of them.

With the party almost over, there is only one last thing to do!

Thank you Rachael and Matt for letting us be a part of your wedding day!
