The Colony House

Earlier this year we had the pleasure of designing the flowers for Arianne and Mitchell. They got married at The Colony House in Anaheim, CA on a beautiful June day.

Arianne first told me she wanted to maybe use balloons because she wanting to have a very subtle theme from Pixar's movie "Up". I absolutely loved the idea so we went ahead and used giant 24-36" balloons throughout the venue.

The balloons were decorated with greenery, anemone's, and hints of blush roses.

Arianne's bouquet was a favorite of the year. I know I say that a lot but this one really was. A few of the flowers used in her bouquet are white garden roses, anemone's, secret garden roses, mockorange...

The bridal party had beautiful lush green bouquets to go with the minimal lush greenery look. The beautiful flower girl had a basket filled with petals inside to toss for her beautiful mother and bride before going down the aisle.

The Centerpieces:

Lush greens and hydrangea filled the reception tables.

Clusters of candles at varying heights also adorn some of the tables. With a hint of greens and scattered rose blooms throughout the base of the candle clusters this added to the romantic ambiance and minimal decor.

The staff here at The Colony House was great! It was our first time at this particular venue and we'd definitely love to come back!
